COURSE DETAILS: Level 1

• To give an insight into how a top fuel car works
• The crew and the jobs they carry out
• Specific functions of the various components
• What is happening in a pit during a turn around and warm up
• To understand safety issues relating to the car and pit
• Instruction into what is involved in assisting as part of a top fuel crew
• Team work and team structure
• Pit procedures, jobs and tasks
• General settings and receiving the car from a run to prep it for a warm-up/race
• To work on an actual top fuel car in our fully supervised workshop and undertake the full range of procedures as undertaken by the assisting crew members of a top fuel team
